Activities of information technologies are managed by Computer Center Departmant. Işık University Computer Center establishes, supports and manages all Şile Campus computer systems, network, ip telephone and internet services. As another it provides supports of two computer laboratories for students' homeworks and projects.

All University have been connected to the network that has privilege to get the internet specified 36 Mbit capacity, 16 Mbit over Ulaknet and 20 Mbit over Metro Ethernet.

Students of Işık University, are able to use weekly 180 hours free purposed labs in Şile Campus. Also, every student of ışık University can have an individual e-mail address and web space to use.

Computers have Windows, Linux operating systems and users can access to those computers according to their needs. WEB, MAIL and FTP servers are placed in Computer Center and these servers have been served to academic, administrative staffs and also students of Işık University. Beside to manage these servers that has been installed with Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Solaris and Linux, the connection which is out of the university with dial-up is obtained by Computer Center.

Beside of all, Computer Center of Işık University organizes seminars and lectures that address to academic, personnel staffs and students by cooperating with other university's Computer Centers and experts of Computer Engineering. Also, some projects apply with university's students.
